Finding Your Next Step With Jesus
Every person’s walk with Jesus is unique, shaped by where they are, what they are learning, and how God is at work in their life.
Salvation is the starting point for all disciples. If you have questions about salvation, reach out to Pastor Jared here or visit this site for more information. Our desire is to help you identify and take your next step on the path of following Jesus.
Baptism is an important step following salvation. It is an act of obedience and public identification with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4). Baptism is a visible testimony that a person has already been made new in Christ and is following Jesus’ teachings. We baptize those who believe, by immersion, because Christ commands it and it pictures the gospel we have already received. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-38)
Discipleship is the process of spiritual growth that takes place throughout a believer’s life. Discipleship is a journey, not a destination. We want to walk the path of growth alongside you.
Growth Happens in Community
While personal Bible study is important, we understand that spiritual growth is not meant to happen in isolation. People grow best when they are connected in meaningful relationships centered on God’s Word.
We grow as we study Scripture together
We grow as we build authentic relationships and real friendships
We grow as we encourage and challenge one another
Growth groups are designed to cultivate spiritual growth with other believers. Connecting to a group is an important step in your discipleship journey. Below are current group opportunities where you can grow and serve with others.

Core Value Groups
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-12)
What: The following teams were established with the purpose of finding and sharing practical ways that our church family can put faith into action and live out our core values. Each group meets periodically throughout the year. Their input guides our efforts from a budgetary and volunteer level as we coordinate events and ministry opportunities together. Each group is led by a valued member of our church leadership team who works with our pastor and group members.
- LOVE | led by Denise Tuggle
GROW | led by Chelsea Tuggle
SERVE | led by Thelma Proctor
STEWARDSHIP | led by Don Baugh and Vince Collier

Generations Group
One generation commending the works of God to another. (Psalm 145:4)
When: TBD - starting soon!
What: Generations is a cross-generational ministry where older and younger believers walk together - sharing life, learning life-lessons, studying Scripture, serving our community, and living out the faith that has been handed down. The goal is to build friendships and impact the next generation.
What to expect: Fun times and unique spiritual discussions led by various people from our church. This is a safe place of ministry, a time for mentoring, serving side by side, and honest conversation across age groups. We look forward not just to engaging talks but real-life activities that help reinforce truth and build skills. Adults are not chaperones on the edge of the room. Youth are not just there to be entertained. All generations show up to learn from each other, grow together, and learn how we can be part of ensuring the baton of the Gospel reaches the next generation.
Who it’s for: Students, children, young adults, parents, and seasoned saints who want to be in the line of faith - reaching across generational boundaries and sharing life with others on purpose and with intention. If you want help navigating your own faith questions and challenges, this is the perfect place. If you have wisdom to share from life experiences, we value and welcome you. No age limit or gender restrictions. We will occasionally have "guys only" or "girls only" activities and mentoring opportunities.
